Drunk in charge of the fleet
The UK is to introduce drink-driving laws for sailors, similar to those applied to motorists. Howard Pridding of the British Marine Federation says: "We don't believe that there is a widespread problem of alcohol afloat." Of course, there are exceptions. Who could forget the immortal Tommy Woodroffe?
