This site was designed and constructed by Richard Wilkie at SGP Web Design Ltd. Richard is a first rate web designer. I know this because I worked with various web designers and specialists at the Financial Times when I spent a year creating and editing FTCareerPoint.com – a recruitment and careers-based web site that fell victim to internal cost cutting. It was a hard lesson. I would never again start a new business within a larger business. This was one of the most instructive and frustrating periods of my career when it was difficult because of an overly bureaucratic IT management system to deal directly with the usually very good people responsible for coding.

In this project I dealt directly with Richard who quickly understood my needs and usually had a solution to any problem within minutes.
